Drop Shipping / Direct Order Fulfilment

At APW Wholesale we firmly believe in drop shipping as a business model for our customers, by utilising our drop ship / direct order fulfilment service you can list our products on your website without needing to hold stock yourselves, allowing you to try new lines without risk.

How Does Drop Shipping Work?

Drop shipping is an arrangment between supplier (us) and customer (you) where we ship orders for products direct to your customer on your behalf, allowing you to trade without holding stock and without needing to Invest in premesis etc to hold that stock, by integrating your online systems to ours you can have up to the minute warehouse stock information and new product information, meaning you will always be selling the right products at the right price, with the minimum of work on your part.

This arrangement leaves you free to concentrate on marketing your website and building you business, while we do the hard work for you.

How are the Products Shipped?

All orders are shipped in plain packaging via your selected delivery route, there are no leaflets or flyers added to your orders and the only paperwork that goes with the order is a simple delivery note from APW Wholesale, however if you choose you can send us your own delivery note with each order by simple e-mail a PDF delivery note to [email protected] once you have placed your order, and we will use that paperwork to substitue our own.

What Charges Apply?

At APW Wholesale we belive in keeping things simple both for you and for us, so do not have any additional fee's for using our drop ship service, the only fee's you are likely to encounter are our small order surchage, if your order is under the current thershold, For more information on our fee's and charges please see the following page: Fee's & Charges Information.

How Do I Know Whats In Stock?

In order to help you keep your websites stock up to date we generate a number of CSV files from our website to assiti you to keep your own websites up to date with the latest products and also stock information, if you use these files properly then there should be no situtaion where you are selling products you can not obtain, as our stock files are updated every 30 minutes with the latest stock availability information from both our own warehouse and that of our suppliers.

For more information regarding our various stock feeds please read the information on the following page: CSV / XML Stock Data Feeds .

What Are the Delivery Costs?

We use a combination of shippers for making direct deliveries including Royal Mail, DHL, Fedex, TNT, UPS and Hermes as a result our shipping charges are a fairly complex affair, and are detailed in full on the following page: Delivery Charges Information.

International Dropshipping & Delivery

For International Dropshipments inside the EU, quotes can be given by our online system, however for larger shipments and shipments outside the EU our system cannot always quote online.

For any shipments outside of the EU we will require a copy of your customer invoice, signed, with printed name and date as this will need to be submitted with the shipment for customs clearance, this can be emailed to sales as a PDF once you have placed your order, please note you order will not be processed until we have received the invoice copy.

We will also require a telephone number and e-mail address for the customer on all international deliveries, your drop ship orders will not be processed until all of the above information has been received.

Please note your customer will be liable for all customs charges relative to the shipment, we take no responsibility for any shipments that are returned to us in the UK because your customers fails to pay customs charges or to produce appropriate ID etc when dealing with customs clearance. Any returned shipments will be dealt with under our standard returns policy as set out below, and any additional charges incurred will be billed to yourself.

What About Returns?

Any drop ship orders that are returned to us, either because they are undeliverable or they are returned by your customer will be charged at 25% re-stock, in other words 25% of the cost of the goods will be deducted from any refund issued to yourself.

If there has been an address issue and the supplied address was incorrect then our usual charges will apply to any re-shipment made to your customer.

Of course all returns will be inspected and any that are not in 100% original condition will be rejected and will not be refunded, if you then require these items shipped elsewhere or to yourselves our usual shipping charges will apply.

All planned returns (faulty goods etc) must be notified within 7 days of delivery, no returns will be accepted after this time for any reason.

Please Note: The above terms are subject to change without notice, so please check this page regularly.
